Obtaining patent protection in the Russian Federation:
First way is to file a Russian patent application with the Russian Patent Office
Second way is to file a regional Eurasian patent application, designating Russia, with the Eurasian Patent Office
Third way is to enter the national phase of a PCT-application before the Russian Patent Office. The term for entry into the national phase before the Russian Patent Office is 31 months from the earliest priority date. A request for grant of a patent shall be filed with the Russian Patent Office prior to the expiration of said term.

Evgeniy is a Russian Patent Attorney №1384, Head of International patenting department at "Russian Patent" firm. He specialises in patenting inventions, utility models and industrial designs in the Russian Federation, Eurasian and foreign countries. Evgeniy advises clients on a broad spectrum of IP matters such as patent infringement and third party conflicts. He also represents interests of foreign clients before the Russian and Eurasian Patent Offices.
Evgeniy is graduated with honors from the Belgorod State University with specialization in chemistry and biology. Now he is finishing his third education - juridical one at the Moscow State Academy of Law.
Evgeniy possesses an extent experience in consulting and innovative companies as a head of IP department including well-known patent and law firms. He has been also experienced as a State Examiner of Intellectual Property at the Russian Patent and Trademark Office (Rospatent).
